Eat Play Love Giveaway Week! Jumpstart Wii Get Moving Family Fitness Game!

It's giveaway week at Eat Play Love! I started this blog back in August of 2007. My blogiversary is officially on Friday, but this entire week will have giveaways, everyday! So let's all celebrate together.

I've partnered in the past with Jump Start, my daughters love their games online and for the Wii. This new game has been a blast to play, everyone in the family has their very own Jumpee so we can all play together. I let my 6yo design our Jumpees because she does such a good job (see mine in the photo).

The Get Moving Family Fitness game for the Wii sets itself apart from other Wii games targeted for E (everyone) because you actively participate when playing the game. Not only is there a wide range of sports to play from Speed Skating to Baseball, you can also choose the location where the game is played. I personally prefer the beach when playing! There are 18 different games and you use both the balance board or nunchucks with each activity.

If you have played other JumpStart games, you will enjoy this interactive game as well. My girls and I all give it a thumbs up!
Giveaway Details, How to Enter:
1. Leave a comment on this post telling me a favorite activity you like to do with your children!
2. You must provide a valid email and name for me to pass along to the kind people at JumpStart, so they can mail you the game directly. If you comment as anonymous (which is fine by me) please just include an email address in your comment so I can contact you.
3. One entry per person.
4. Contest ends Friday August 13th at 10pm MST. I will close the comments when the contest ends, so that's easy.

7. I reserve the right to delete comments that do not answer the ? in #1.

Good Luck.

  1. Since my daughter is still very young, our favorite activity is either building with Legos or throwing a ball around. Since I'm big into all games, I'm hoping these interactive video games will keep our bond strong as she gets older!

  2. That looks awesome! We love our Wii. My favorite activity with my kiddos is a toss-up between art projects and reading. Do I have to pick just one? In that case, guess I'd have to go with reading since I don't have to worry about clean up.

  3. Definitely reading, but I'm guessing you mean an ACTIVE activity, so hmmm...

She's just four, so I would have to go with hide-and-seek, simply because of her unadultered joy & giggling. =)

  4. my daughter is 16 months, and we love to dance together - especially to Yo Gabba Gabba

  5. If you have to own a wii to make this work...then please don't throw my hat in the ring. :)

I love to walk with my kids...exploring a new park or playground. Hubby is the active play guy with them and they do all kinds of stuff.

  6. We love to geocache-- go hunting for treasures using our GPS in the woods.

  7. I love to cook with my daughter Delia. We have so much fun in the kitchen together. It reminds me of when I used to cook with my mom as a little girl. It is such a special thing to share things that you love with your child.

  8. My 22-month old has just discovered how to hop and jump. We are hopping and jumping all over the place and discovering toddler friendly games that incorporate all of her new found love of this activity.

  9. We love to do outdoor activities, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating. We recently went hiking at Hyuck Preserve in Rensselearville, NY and found some interesting fossil rocks near the Lake Mysotisis. The kids also loved the falls at the preserve. When it rains the kids like to play the Wii. The kids really want to win this game and would be greatful if they do.

  10. Walking around our neighborhood is something that we love to do together. But I love watching Giggles ride horses and The Chicken play softball.

  11. I love to play basketball and go for bike rides with my son! ( He is 11!) He dont like to "play" anymore, but I get in as much mommy time as possible! :)
